Los Angeles, CA - September 5, 2007 - South Korea's sci-fi monster movie "D-War"
continues its box office run in Korea and has reached 8.3 million admissions
(grossing about $60 million) as of September 3, according to the film's distributor
Showbox. Director Shim Hyung-rae's film, budgeted at about $35-70 million making it
the country's most expensive film to date, is now the 5th most popular film of all
time at the Korea box office.

"D-War" is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters under the title "Dragon Wars"
on September 14 by Freestyle Releasing, a theatrical distribution company
responsible for films such as "The Illusionist" and "A Day Without a Mexican".
According to Showbox, the film is set to open on more than 1,500 screens, which
would make it the first Korean film ever to receive a wide release in the U.S.

At a press conference in Korea, Shim announced that they have also signed a deal
with Sony Pictures, who will be responsible for handling the DVD distribution of the
film.
